Celebrating & Empowering People.
Empowered Through Health programs are built on the truth that people are more alike than they are different. Our programs strive to empower people with their health in incredible ways and simultaneously help build a strong, supportive and happier community.
Embracing your talent and or dream is one of the best ways to build character and self-esteem. It is also a great way to share your gift with the community.
Empowered Through Health works with self-advocates to help them reach their dreams. We support and strive to create opportunities to people of all different abilities so they can fulfill their dreams and be their own best advocate.
The greater danger for most of us lies not in
setting our aim too high and falling short; but in
setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.
The Empowered Through Health Program is interactive, challenging, but most importantly; individualized.
Health is not about following a particular diet or fitness fad, rather looking at what is right for the individual, phsyically, mentally and emotionally. By doing so you will create a lifestyle that is manageable, but extremely empowering to your overall health and well-being.
Looking at what whole foods best fuel your body and finding the fitness modality that excites you is an important part of the program. Being healthier doesn't have to be a chore, rather something that comes naturally and brings happiness and positivity to your life.
Diversity and inclusiveness are important ingredients for a healthy and vibrant society. Empowered Through Health is dedicated to broadening the understanding of people with different abilities with it's Community First Responders and Law Enforcement Training Program.
No longer are people with different abilities in the background, so to speak. Deservingly so, they are being included in the world around us; in school, at work and in all aspects of life. With medical advancements and improved life expectancies this is really the first generation of people with different abilities to become adults and be a welcomed part of society.
This amazing reality makes it imperative to provide training to law enforcement officers and first responders in how to interact with people with different abilities. If a tragedy similar to the one involving Ethan Saylor can be avoided, then we will strive to make sure it does.

The Empowered Through Health Gardening Program focuses on using gardening and green concepts for improved health.
This program defies the idea that you have to be "a farmer" to grow delicious vegetables and shares all the thereuputic benefits that gardening has to offer.
The green concept takes on a new meaning when recyclable items are turned into something unique and beautiful.
